Australian Designed
Packs 40 Cartons a Minute

An intermittent motion carton machine with automatic end loader uses the latest servo motor drive technology to load up to 40 cartons/minute.
It suits frozen and baked foods, cereals, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, frozen meals, cake mixes and compact disks.
The PC40 carton applications include: sachets, blister trays, bags, trays and individually wrapped and unwrapped products.
Servo motors means less components, increased reliability and lower maintenance.
Servo motor feedback controls ancillary functions for erecting, loading, and glue closure of cartons.
Hygienic welded tubular stainless steel frame and anodised aluminium components, ensured stability and long life.
It uses a completely open frame to help servicing and cleaning essential for food handling.
Other Feature Benefits Include:
- Debris fall through design with 250 mm floor clearance

Operations
- Cartons placed in the magazine are erected at Station 1.
- The PC40 indexes this carton to Station 2 for loading. The in-feed conveyor indexes product down to the loader.
- A load cycle will only occur if both carton and product are present reducing product damage and carton waste.
- After a load cycle is complete the PC40 indexes both bucket in-feed and carton machine. A new carton is presented to the loader at Station 2.
- Carton dust flaps are closed at Station 3.
- The inner major flaps are closed at Station 4.
- Glue is applied in transition from Station 4 to 5.
- Station 5 closes the outer major flaps and places the cartons in compression.
- At Station 6 the carton is progressed to the discharge to be conveyed for case packing.
